Telltale Games has announced Season 3 of The Walking Dead in a trailer. The publisher also shows screenshots of the previously announced Batman game for the first time. Just like the other Telltale games, it will be an episodic game.

The makers already confirmed in 2014 that The Walking Dead would be getting a third season. Now Season 3 has actually been announced via a trailer. According to Telltale, the new season will take an unexpected turn and will be both a new starting point for the story and a continuation of the saga that began in 2012 with Lee and Clementine. The Walking Dead: Season 3 will be released in the fall. An exact date has not yet been announced.

Telltale has also shown screenshots of its Batman game for the first time. That game was previously announced and will be released in the summer. The game will focus on Bruce Wayne’s life by day as well as Batman’s life by night. The two parts will also influence each other. Telltale’s Batman game will reinterpret the Batman story, which the studio says is unrelated to existing movies, series or comic books.
