Telenet renews mobile King and Kong subscriptions
Telenet is going to change its King and Kong mobile subscriptions. At the cheaper King, customers get the opportunity to purchase a ‘doubler’, while the prices of Kong go down.
The provider will let you know via its website. With the King subscription, it becomes possible to take a Supersize option for 5 euros per month extra. Instead of 15 euros, the monthly amount becomes 20 euros, whereby the number of calling minutes, text messages and MBs is doubled to 300, 20,000 and 2GB respectively.
At the same time, Kong’s subscription price will be reduced: from now on, you will have to pay 45 euros per month, instead of 50 euros. The number of calling minutes, text messages and MBs will increase to 3000, 30,000 and 3GB respectively. The changes will take effect for both King and Kong on March 17. Existing customers will be transferred in phases, with this expected to be completed by the end of April.
iPhone owners with a dedicated iKing or iKong subscription can expect the same changes. Customers with an iKing subscription get the aforementioned doubling for free, but still pay 45 euros per month. The price for the iKong subscription, which contains the same amount of calling minutes, texts and MBs as Kong, will be reduced from 75 euros to 70 euros per month.
In addition, Telenet announced that customers with a mobile internet subscription will be able to use 4G from March 31. To do this, they gain access to Mobistar’s 4G network, on which Telenet works as a virtual provider. It was previously announced that the latter would allow Telenet customers.
