Telegram improves audio conversations and gives bots more functionality

Telegram has released an update to its chat service. The app has received a new interface for the calling screen, the quality of the audio calls has been improved and the interface is said to be more energy efficient. Telegram Bots have also gained more features.

The development team behind Telegram reports that the calling screen has been overhauled, and that it includes new backgrounds and new animations. Using the new interface according to Telegram also less energy. The sound quality of audio calls is said to have increased, but Telegram reports that even more improvements in that area can be expected this year.

The company has also added more capabilities to the Telegram Bots feature in the chat app. Those bots can now respond to messages, post comments, interact with links, and reply in other chat conversations.
