Tele2 customers can give away up to 1GB of data to other customers in December

Tele2 is starting a temporary promotion where users can give away their data to other Tele2 customers. In blocks of 250MB, customers can give away up to 1GB. The promotion lasts until December 31.

Data given away is also valid until December 31, according to the conditions. Also Unlimited customers, who have unlimited data, are not allowed to give away more than 1000MB of data in total. The promotion has been running since last Friday.

As far as we know, Tele2 is the only one that currently makes it possible to give away data. There is, however, the option of purchasing joint data bundles from different providers, which makes it possible to donate data in a slightly different way. Whether this new phenomenon is temporary or will eventually become a permanent option in the telecom world remains to be seen.

To take advantage of the promotion, customers must use the latest version of the MijnTele2 app. It concerns version 5.1.0, both on iOS and Android.
