TeamViewer is experiencing connectivity issues

TeamViewer is experiencing connectivity issues on Thursday causing users to experience latency issues or not be able to connect. The service thought it had found and solved the problem, but the connection problems continued into the afternoon.

TeamViewer registered at 11:23 a.m. Thursday morning that users were experiencing latency issues and were seeing error messages when connecting. This is evident from the messages on the status page.

The company took its systems offline and managed to determine the cause, after which an attempt was made at 1.20 pm to gradually put the services back online. TeamViewer warned that it could take some time before users could actually log in and connect. Also, not all services were re-enabled.

That did happen at 3:22 p.m., when TeamViewer wanted to re-enable Chat, Management Console, and account creation. By 4 p.m., TeamViewer had to admit it was still experiencing connectivity issues, but said it was working to restore its services.
