TCL shows 5k screen for 15.6"laptops and a foldable 10.1"-screen
TCL China Star, a subsidiary of TCL, has shown several new screen panels. These include a folding screen of 10 “and two laptop screens. The most striking laptop screen is a 15.6” 5k screen.
The 15.6 “LCD has an ltps panel , a resolution of 5120×2800 pixels and a ppi of 376.6. The panel has a 1.4mm bezel and the display is 96 percent screen. The screen has maximum brightness. of 500cd / m 2 , supports one hundred percent of the DCI-P3 color spectrum and is thinner and lighter than ‘previous’ panels, according to TCL, without giving details.
The second laptop screen is a 17.3 “-4k miniled screen that supports ‘up’ one hundred percent of the NTSC color spectrum, HDR1000 and local dimming. This panel consists of 97 percent screen, has a refresh rate of 120Hz and is there is a gray-to-gray response time of 3ms.
With the Z1 screen, TCL shows a foldable display that can be folded in either direction. TCL says this screen can be used as a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Completely unfolded, it is a 10.1 “tablet screen with a ratio of 4: 3. In the folded position, there is three millimeters between the two screen parts at the fold, TCL reports. TCL does not provide further specifications about this screen.
