Following smartphones, TCL also releases tablets in the Benelux. The Chinese manufacturer introduces the Tab 10S and the 10 Tab Max. Both tablets are equipped with a MediaTek soc and run on Android 10.

TCL Tab 10S

TCL presents the Tab 10S as a tablet for children and homeschooling. The 10.1″ screen has a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and TCL provides a capacitive stylus. The tablet has a parental control interface, where time limits can be set and there are options for whitelisting apps and websites.

The Tab 10S weighs 464 grams and is 8.3 mm thick. It contains an 8000mAh battery which, according to TCL, is charged in 3.8 hours with the included 18W charger. There is a 5-megapixel camera on the front and an 8-megapixel camera on the back. The tablet runs on a MediaTek MT8768-soc, or the Helio P22T, with eight Cortex-A53 cores.

TCL 10 Tab Max

According to TCL, the 10 Tab Max is a multimedia tablet. This model has a 10.4″ screen with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. The cameras have a higher resolution and this model has more ram and storage space than the cheaper Tab 10S. The battery has a comparable capacity of 8000mAh.

Both tablets have a so-called Nxtvision screen. That is a marketing name that TCL gives to its tablets with LCD. This means, among other things, that the brightness is automatically adjusted and that a warning can be displayed if the tablet is held less than 25cm away from the eyes.
