Take Two may be working on Xcom: Enemy Unknown’s Vita port
Publisher Take Two may release a PlayStation Vita version of the strategy game Xcom: Enemy Unknown. The title is called Xcom: Enemy Unknown Plus. Take Two is the parent company of 2K, the publisher of the existing Xcom games.
The news comes from an age certification application filed in South Korea. More information than just the title and platform is not on the page. The ‘Plus’ behind the title may mean that this is a bundle of the original Xcom: Enemy Unknown and the expansion Xcom: Enemy Within. The game and expansion have already been ported to iOS and Android in the past, making the move to the PlayStation Vita smaller and more plausible.
The original Xcom: Enemy Unknown came out in 2012, and Enemy Within came out in 2013. Ports to OS X, Linux, and SteamOS followed after the releases. Development studio Firaxis is also working on XCOM 2, which at least initially will only be released for Windows, OS X and Linux. Its release is scheduled for November 2015.
