Swiftkey brings keyboard to iOS via note-taking app
Swiftkey seems to be planning to bring its popular keyboard application to iOS. The company reportedly does this via a note-taking app; Apple does not allow system software replacement, which prevents the company from releasing a separate keyboard app for iOS.
Although Swiftkey itself has not yet announced the arrival of the notes app, professional Evleaks has posted a photo via Twitter. released of what the app will look like. The figure shows note taking software with the keyboard developed by Swiftkey. This is probably how the developer hopes to bring his software to iOS; Apple does not allow the release of keyboard applications. As a result, the Swiftkey keyboard can probably only be used within the notes app.
It is still unclear when Swiftkey wants to release the app for iOS. Because the maker has not yet made any announcements, it is also not clear what the exact purpose of the notes application is. Swiftkey has already released an app for doctors for the iPad, which makes it possible to take notes.
Swiftkey is currently only available for Android, where it is one of the most popular keyboard applications. There is a free and a paid version available. Swiftkey mainly advertises its word prediction and the ability to enter text with swipes.
