Suzuki wants to sell its first electric car in Europe by 2025

Suzuki says it wants to launch its first electric car in 2025, also in Europe. That first car will be a crossover, of which the car manufacturer shows a concept. That concept has a 60kWh battery with a WLTP range of 400 kilometers.

The car manufacturer says wants to release its first electric car worldwide and that it will be called eVX. The concept version of the eVX has four-wheel drive and is 4.3 meters long, 1.8 meters wide and 1.6 meters high. The company is not sharing any further details about the eVX.

Apart from the eVX, Suzuki also wants to develop smaller cars, says the company, according to Automotive News Europe, among others. The car manufacturer wants to collaborate with Toyota for this. This company owns shares in Suzuki. It is not clear whether these smaller cars will also come to Europe.
