Surgeon Simulator and Salt and Sanctuary Coming to Nintendo Switch
The developers of Surgeon Simulator and Salt and Sanctuary have announced that the games are coming to Nintendo Switch. Surgeon Simulator gets a new co-op mode, where two players can each operate with a Joy-Con.
Bossa Studios has announced that Surgeon Simulator CPR is coming to Switch this fall. A date has not yet been announced. CPR stands for Co-op Play Ready and indicates that the game has been adapted for the Nintendo Switch. At any time, the co-op mode can be activated and two players can play together using a Joy-Con each.
According to the makers, the game has been adapted for the Joy-Cons and the motion control of the Nintendo Switch. The controllers’ vibration function should give users the feeling that they are actually performing operations. Surgeon Simulator first came out in 2013, and the game has been released in recent years for PC, PlayStation 4, PSVR, and iOS.
Furthermore, developer Ska Studios announced on Wednesday that Salt and Sanctuary is coming to the Nintendo Switch. The hand-drawn 2D action RPG will be available to download from the eShop on August 2 and will cost $18. The Soulslike platformer was previously released for PC, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, and has been downloaded more than 800,000 times on those platforms. BlitWorks is responsible for the port to the Switch.
