Super Mario Maker 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch in June

Nintendo has announced Super Mario Maker 2, where players can create their own Mario levels. It is a successor to the first part, which was released for the Wii U. The new game is coming to Switch and will be released in June.

Nintendo has uploaded a short gameplay announcement video showing that Super Mario Maker 2 offers more possibilities in creating environments. There is a ramp to see and the Cat Mario power-up from Super Mario 3D World can also be used.

Nintendo is releasing Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch. A version of the first part also appeared for the Nintendo 3DS a year after its release, but the Japanese company does not mention anything about the successor. The new game will be released in June, at an unknown date.
