According to a source from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, the game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be delayed soon. The game was supposed to be released in May, but that will now be sometime ‘later this year’.

Schreier relies to a source with ‘direct knowledge of the matter’. This source does not give a reason for the delay, but Schreier notes that the reactions to the co-op gameplay trailer and the fact that the game is always online were not positive.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is based on the DC Comics super villain team and is set in the same universe as the Batman: Arkham games. They mainly come from the same developer, Rocksteady. In SS:KtJL, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark and Deadshot are tasked with stopping a Brainiac-brainwashed Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern and Batman.

The game is a third-person, single-player and co-op multiplayer action game available for PS5, Xbox Series, and Windows. Officially, the release date is still on May 26.
