Sucker Punch Shows Ghost of Tsushima gameplay footage
Sucker Punch has shown the first gameplay footage of Ghost of Tsushima. The images show how the main character fights with Mongolian soldiers. It is not yet known when the game will be released.
The trailer was shown during Sony’s E3 presentation. For the trailer, a musician came on stage, playing a flute in Japanese costume. The trailer opens with an atmospheric impression of the open world, through which the main character rides on a horse. He encounters Mongolian soldiers, with whom he gets into a fight. He then encounters a female fellow player who uses bows and arrows as weapons. Together they free a monk from a temple, after which they end up fighting among themselves.
Ghost of Tsushima was announced last October. Set in Japan in 1274, the game revolves around the battle between samurai and Mongol soldiers who invade the island of Tsushima. The game is being developed by Sucker Punch Productions, known for the InFamous and Sly series. No release date for the game has been announced yet.
