Studio Wildcard releases ARK: Survival Ascended in early access on Steam

Studio Wildcard has released ARK: Survival Ascended in early access for PC. This is a remake of ARK: Survival Evolved that was made with Unreal Engine 5. The remake will later also come to the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.

Studio Wildcard announced the release of ARK: Survival Ascended on Wednesday evening. The early access game is now available via Steam. The developer also confirms that the console version of the game has been further delayed until November, with the studio not giving a concrete date. The remake was initially scheduled for release in August on all platforms.

Along with the Steam release, Studio Wildcard also showed off first gameplay footage of the ARK: Survival Evolved remake. The company did this during the Xbox Partner Showcase livestream. The company announced the new game in April. The original ARK: Survival Evolved has been completely remade in Unreal Engine 5. Wildcard is also working on ARK 2, a sequel to Survival Evolved, set for release next year.
