Studio behind Terminator: Resistance coming in 2023 with RoboCop action game
Polish developer Teyon and publisher Nacon will release a game called RoboCop: Rogue City in 2023. In this action-adventure game, the player takes on the role of the robot agent, although many details are still unknown. Teyon previously made Terminator: Resistance.
Nacon has not yet announced much about the RoboCop game, although there is already one Steam page and a teaser has been released. That short video doesn’t show any gameplay, but it does make it clear that it’s all about ensuring justice, law enforcement, and protecting the innocent in Old Detroit. The new in-game story will be based on the first three RoboCop movies.
Players will embark on an ‘explosive hunt’ in search of the truth from a first-person perspective. In addition, there seems to be a fair amount of freedom for players, so that it can be decided at their own discretion how to complete the main missions. According to the makers, you will have to be more careful as the story progresses, because the corruption and greed “know no boundaries”.
In the teaser, a few images can be seen very briefly in which the characteristic Auto 9 pistol appears. That suggests that the necessary shooting will be necessary. The game is known as an action and adventure game; Nacon calls it a first-person shooter. RoboCop: Rogue City will be released sometime in 2023. That will be the case for consoles and the PC, although Nacon does not say which consoles are involved.
