Streacom introduces the DA6 and DA6 XL. Both are compact tower enclosures with an open frame. The housings can accommodate a mini-ITX motherboard and up to an ATX power supply. The XL variant is intended for large video cards up to 358mm long.

The frame of the Streacom DA6 housing consists of steel tubes with a diameter of 19 mm and aluminum brackets to attach components to. Those brackets can be mounted in all kinds of different ways, giving users a lot of freedom in arranging the housing, according to the manufacturer.

The rectangular DA6 housing offers just enough space between the tubes for 140mm fans. With the open housing, Streacom mainly aims for air cooling and passive cooling, but a 280 mm radiator can also be mounted for water cooling.

Streacom DA6 and DA6 XL

Streacom provides mounting options for 3.5″ and 2.5″ HDDs and SSDs and for ATX and SFX power supplies. The use of a large power supply does not come at the expense of the space for the video card. The DA6 housing has a volume of 19.9 liters, including the ‘stand’ and ‘handles’. The usable space within the frame is 15.9 liters. With the larger DA XL variant, that is 17.6 liters.

In the regular model there is room for video cards up to 323mm in length. With the XL variant, that is a maximum of 358 mm. This leaves room for the largest video cards on the market. Streacom will release the housing in chrome and black in July. The DA6 costs 139 euros; the DA6 XL costs 149 euros.
