The Swedish game publisher Paradox Interactive has announced that the game Stellaris: Console Edition will be released on February 26 for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. Stellaris is an existing strategy game and this Console Edition has been specially adapted for control with controllers.

Paradox Interactive states that Stellaris: Console Edition is a modified version of the game Stellaris, which came out for PC in 2016. According to the studio, this title will be the first ‘grand strategy’ game for the consoles. For the Xbox One, for example, the RTS game Halo Wars 2 already exists, but Paradox refers to a strategy game in which the tactical management of units on the battlefield is combined with larger, strategic decisions on a zoomed-out campaign map, such as that with Total War, for example. games is the case.
