Steam Game Festival with 500 playable demos starts next week
Valve has announced that a new Steam Game Festival will start on February 3. During this festival, users on Steam will be able to play various demos of indie games for a week. The event ends on February 9.
It is the fifth time that Valve has organized a Steam Game Festival. The online event aims to showcase indie game creators. The games will be featured prominently on the platform’s store page with playable demos.
In total, more than five hundred demos will be playable according to Valve and live streams will be organized by the makers of the games. Players can chat with the developers during these sessions. Valve announced last August that it would host its Steam Game Festivals every season. The company had already organized editions in the spring, summer and fall.
