Mmorpg is getting a new expansion in honor of its tenth anniversary, entitled Legacy of the Sith. The expansion continues the story and allows players with Combat Styles to choose their own combat styles.

According to developer BioWare, the Legacy of the Sith expansion will give players more choice in how they play the game. With the introduction of Combat Styles, players can choose to disconnect their Class Story from gameplay and choose from all the Advanced Class options. This makes it possible, for example, to play as a Trooper with a sniper rifle, or to use the forces of the Dark Side as Jedi.

The new storyline takes place on the planet Manaan, which has been occupied by the Sith Empire. There, players have to fight for control of the planet in underwater environments, among other things. There are Imperial and Republic storylines.

The mmorpg also gets Loadouts, which allow players to customize their playstyle and gear “with one click.” The makers also say that they want to improve the game for both new and experienced players by making many quality-of-life updates. For example, character composition is completely revamped.

Star Wars: The Old Republic was released on December 20, 2011. According to BioWare, the upcoming expansion is one of the things that will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the multiplayer game. There have been rumors about a remake of SW:KOTOR for some time, but nothing has been announced yet.
