The release of Final Fantasy XV has been delayed by two months. Square Enix promised to release the game on September 30, but now says it needs more time to make the game “perfect”. On Wednesday, the makers will show a thirty-minute gameplay video.
Hajime Tabata, game director of the Final Fantasy series, announced the postponement in an extended video on YouTube. He says that the game has now been completed and that a patch is being worked on to implement the latest improvements. Instead of releasing it as a day-one patch, Square Enix chooses to delay the game until November 29, so that all improvements are immediately available to everyone, even if gamers don’t have an internet connection to download the patch. to download.
Tabata also announces that the current master of the game can be played by visitors of Gamescom. On the occasion of the fair, Square Enix will also release a 30-minute gameplay video on Wednesday, which will show the game in its current state.
