Square Enix Announces The Quiet Man

Japanese publisher Square Enix has announced a new game during the E3 games fair: The Quiet Man. The released trailer shows a man taking out two others in a New York alley. It is a combination of live action and ingame engine visuals.

According to Square Enix, The Quiet Man is a cinematic action experience that seamlessly blends live action, realistic CGI and fierce action gameplay. According to the publisher, it is a cinematic experience that can be completed in one sitting.

Hardly any details about the new game have been announced yet, but the trailer shows the protagonist felling two opponents with his fists in an alley in New York, with the fight partly being followed in slow motion. The protagonist is probably deaf and presumably unable to speak.

It is still unknown when The Quiet Man will be released. Square Enix says it will reveal more about the game in August, perhaps during Gamescom.
