Spyro Reignited Trilogy Coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on September 3rd
Publisher Activision will release Spyro Reignited Trilogy for PC and Nintendo Switch. A version for the PC already seemed on the way, after a PC version of the game was previously provided with an age rating. The game will be released on September 3 on both platforms.
Activision reports that Spyro Reignited Trilogy for PC and Nintendo Switch includes the three original games, Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. This corresponds to the existing trilogy of the game, which has been available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 since last year. The trilogy for PC can already be ordered on Steam for 40 euros.
As with Spyro Reignited Trilogy for Xbox One and PS4, Switch and PC are polished, modernized versions of the three original games. The publisher gives few details about this, but does report that the games can be played on the PC in a 4k resolution with an unlimited frame rate. The maximum resolution and maximum number of frames per second on the Switch, especially in handheld mode, has not been disclosed.
