Spotify has adjusted the download limit of 3333 songs per device. Paying users can now download 10,000 songs per device for offline listening. Moreover, this is now possible on five devices, which was previously three.

Spotify itself has not publicized the adjustment, but confirms the increase of the limit against Rolling Stone . According to the magazine, the download limit of 3,333 songs per device was a thorn in the side of avid users.

For example, in 2015, users already suggested increasing the limit to 9999 numbers on one device. In fact, it was already possible to download 9999 songs, but it had to be done on three different devices. Spotify now mentions the new much wider limits in response to the proposal.

Paying users can now download up to 50,000 songs for offline listening. To do that, five different devices must be used. The download limit per device is 10,000 songs.
