Spotify now allows six family members with a Family subscription of 14.99 euros per month
Spotify has adjusted its Family subscription. Where until now users had to pay five euros extra per family member for a Premium account, now up to six family members can use Spotify for 14.99 euros per month.
Those who currently have a Family subscription pay the same 14.99 euros per month for the possibility to use Spotify Premium with two family members. For six family members, the music service has so far charged five euros extra per month per member and the total amount came to 34.99 euros per month.
The change is for both existing and new music service customers. With this step, Spotify is bringing its offer in line with Apple Music, among others, which was the first to make a family subscription with a maximum of six people possible for around fifteen euros last year. Google has also started doing that. Spotify’s family plan has been around since 2014.
