Specs of Samsung’s second Android Go phone appear online
Specs have appeared of the Galaxy J4 Core, Samsung’s second Android Go phone. The device has a 6″ screen with an 18:9 ratio and a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. The phone has appeared at a Brazilian online store.
The version at webshop Colombo is called J410G, but traces of the J410F can also be found online, which indicates a European release of this smartphone; for example, there is a manual for it on the Samsung site. It seems to be a variant of the J4+ that was recently released, but without a fingerprint scanner on the side. The LCD is a lot bigger than that of the J2 Core, which appeared this summer. It has a 5″ screen with 960×540 pixels, a lower resolution and pixel density.
The J4 Core runs on the Android Go version of Oreo, version 8.1. That’s not the latest Pie variant of Android Go. The processor is a quad-core at 1.4GHz, presumably a Samsung Exynos 7570 as from the Galaxy J4 or a Snapdragon 425 as in the recently released J4+.
The J4 Core has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Colombo does not list a price for the J4 Core.
