Specifications of Samsung’s Gear Fit 2 appear online
The site Sammobile claims to have put the final specifications of the next model in Samsung’s Gear Fit line online. The Gear Fit 2 fitness tracker would, among other things, be equipped with a curved 1.55 “Super Amoled screen with 216×432 pixels.
Earlier reports were based on a 1.84 “screen, just like with the first Gear Fit. Sammobile claims that the Gear Fit 2 is equipped with 512MB RAM and 2GB storage. The processor is from Samsung and runs at 1GHz with two cores.
In addition, there is a 200mAh battery, which has a smaller capacity than the battery in the first model. It has a 210mAh battery. The Gear Fit 2 runs on Tizen 2.3 and, in addition to GPS and Glonass, is equipped with a heart rate sensor, gyroscope, barometer and an accelerometer.
In addition, the bracelet is IP68 certified, which means that it is able to stay under water for half an hour to a depth of 1.5m. No price has yet been announced and SamMobile expects the wearable to be released in June. The South Korean manufacturer has not yet announced the bracelet.
