Specifications of AMD Athlon X4 880K appear online
The specifications of the Athlon X4 880K have appeared on the internet. An AMD processor without GPU of the Kaveri generation. The chip, which has not yet been officially announced, has a clock speed of 4GHz.
The Athlon X4 chips are not APUs and therefore do not have a GPU. The Athlon X4 880K succeeds the 870K, which has already been announced, but is not yet available. However, the 860K is available, which is available in the Pricewatch for around 70 euros.
The specifications have appeared in a compatibility list of a motherboard from Biostar, Cpu-world noted. Earlier, the site already knew the details about the A8-7690K and A10-7890K, two APUs that have also not yet been announced. Of the three new chips, the A10-7890K with 4.1GHz has the highest clock speed, the Athlon X4 880K follows with 4GHz. Turbo speeds are not yet known and the prices and release dates are still a guess.
