Game director Cory Davis and Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck have founded a new game studio. The new studio is called Eyes Out and is working on an unannounced single-player horror game.

The founding of Eyes Out has been announced with a trailer. On the website of the new studio you can read who are all part of the team. In addition to founders Davis and Fink, the team consists of 15 game developers.

The Eyes Out team members previously worked on major titles such as Gears of War, The Evil Within and FEAR. That should mean that there is enough experience with horror games to develop a new horror title. The studio calls itself an ‘arthouse’ game studio. They want to focus on games with a strong story, supported by music.

Spec Ops: The Line received acclaim upon its release in 2012 for its strong narrative that involved Davis as director and designer. After working at Yager Development, he gained experience developing horror games at Monolith Productions, which is responsible for FEAR. He was also involved in VR horror game Here They Lie.
