South Park: Snow Day gets its first gameplay trailer and will be released in March 2024
Publisher THQ Nordic has shown the first gameplay trailer for the South Park game Snow Day. It is a 3D action game where up to four players can work together to defeat enemies with a variety of weapons and other attacks. The game should be released in March.
As in the previous two South Park 2D RPG games, The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole, players do not control a well-known resident of South Park, but can create their own character. Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny do play a leading role in the story. The game can be played with one player or co-op with up to four players. Players must work together in the game to defeat the hordes of computer-controlled opponents.
THQ Nordic late on the game’s site that players can use and upgrade a lot of different attacks and weapons. They can also set up traps and carry out joint, coordinated attacks. When played solo, players work together with computer-controlled characters. Furthermore, the publisher promises that there will be ‘a wide range’ of cosmetics available to deck out the character in.
The game is being developed by the small development studio Question Games. That company previously worked on the games The Magic Circle and The Blackout Club. South Park: Snow Day should be released sometime in March 2024 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch and costs 30 euros. The game was first announced last August.
