Sony postpones The Last of Us Part II again
Sony has again delayed The Last of Us Part II, this time without mentioning a new release date for the game. The company cites the global crisis as the reason for the delay.
Sony announces the postponement of The Last of Us Part II in a short twot. The company also states that it concerns an indefinite postponement. “Logistics prevents the global crisis from providing an introductory experience that our players deserve.” Iron Man VR, a shooter for the PlayStation VR that was released on May 15, has also been postponed.
The developer of The Last of US Part II, Naughty Dog, reports that the good news is that the game’s development almost finished is. “We’re fixing the latest bugs.” The developer hopes it won’t be a long delay.
The Last of Us Part II should have been released May 29. That date was also set after a postponement because initially Sony spoke of an appearance on February 21 for the PS4 game. Sony announced The Last of Us Part II in 2016. The game features the same main characters as the first part and takes place five years after the events of that game. The first part of the game has sold more than 17 million times.
