Sony improves call quality and touchscreen on Xperia Z2 via update
Sony has released a software update for the Xperia Z2. This should, among other things, ensure that the call quality is improved. Sony also states that the touchscreen offers better performance. The rollout has already started.
Sony has announced on its website that the new software has been rolled out since Friday. As usual with over-the-air updates, the software is being rolled out in a phased manner, so it can take several weeks to reach every Xperia Z2 owner. According to Sony, the call quality for telephone calls has been improved in the new software.
The Japanese manufacturer also states that after updating the software, the touchscreen should perform better. Further improvements are faster charging when the battery is almost empty and in general the smartphone should perform better and be more stable. A number of bugs have also been fixed. The software update does not bring a new Android version, so the Xperia Z2 is stuck on Android 4.4.2.
