Sony delivers PlayStation VR with eight demos on game disc
Sony has bundled the PlayStation VR with a demo disc with which eight games can be tried, the manufacturer has announced. The VR glasses for the console will be available on October 13 and buyers can immediately start playing some games.
The eight titles on the demo disc are Driveclub VR, PlayStation VR Worlds, RIGS Mechanized Combat League, Tumble VR, Battlezone, EVE: Valkyrie, Wayward Sky and Headmaster. Sony gives few details about the size of the demos. It is clear from PlayStation VR Worlds that it is one of the five minigames of that title: Ocean Descent.
Furthermore, owners of the PlayStation VR can already try out some major titles, such as the racing game Driveclub VR. EVE: Valkyrie was one of the compelling titles when the Oculus Rift was introduced. Some games on the demo disc are already available on PlayStation Store. For example, Rigs: Mechanized Combat League is there with a price of 59.99 euros. For Tumble VR, a puzzle game, you have to pay 9.99 euros.
Sony will probably announce more about the PlayStation VR and the associated games on Wednesday evening. The PS4 Slim and Neo will probably also be announced at that event.
