Sony has announced a State of Play broadcast for Wednesday evening. It will include ‘new revelations’ for the PlayStation consoles. It is not yet known what those revelations are. The broadcast starts at 11 p.m. and can be followed via YouTube and Twitch.

The show lasts about 20 minutes and “includes extra focus on games from Japanese publishers.” Sony also promises news about “updates from other developers around the world.” The manufacturer says it has no new information about the unreleased PlayStation VR2 headset.

It is not yet known what exactly Sony wants to show and which games for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will receive updates. On Tuesday, Square Enix announced that its new PS5 game Forspoken has been postponed to this fall. The game would first be released at the end of May, but the publisher believes that the development of the game needs more time.
