Download Zoom Player 4.02 RC3

A new beta version of Zoom Player can be downloaded from the Inmatrix website. Version number is 4.02 Release candidate 3 and that is remarkable, because the previous two Release Candidates were numbered 4.01. Zoom Player is capable of playing most media files. Furthermore, there is a large number of options to set up and adapt the player to your own wishes. There are three different versions: the standard versionthe professional version and the WMV professional version† The former is free to use, the latter two are shareware and must be paid for after a 30-day trial. The changelog accompanying this release shows the following changes:

Changes from v4.01 RC2:

• New skin constants , and .
• More functions added to the TCP/IP interface.
• New Setting that allows you disable Overlay on the VMR7 renderer (Advanced Options / Filter Control / Settings).
• Zoom Player no longer reserves any keys, you can now assign any function to any key for complete keyboard automation.
• Per the change above, The Space key has been set as a standard function (fnSpace). The navigation keys have been split to a new set of navigation class (see default.key for more information).
• Fix for a crash when playing Matroska files with a stream description over 127 characters long.
• File sorting in the File Navigator would glitch on certain conditions.
• Fixed a 1-pixel cosmetic glitch in the playlist editor.
