Zomplog is a piece of blogging software that works out-of-the-box on systems that run the well-known combo PHP and MySQL. The program mainly focuses on the user without too much technical knowledge and can therefore be used by people who have little or no computer knowledge. Today the developers of Zomplog in the form of 3.4.7 have released a new version of the program made available. The update is from this server as a tarball and takes up roughly 671 kilobytes of disk space. The 3.7 branch of Zomplog has a large number improvements. However, in version 3.7.4 the following changes have been made:

Okay, I didn’t keep my promise of not releasing another update, but tenschert pointed aa major bug in the editor_pages file, which actually disallowed people from editing pages! Thanks to Tenschert this bug is now fixed.

Another problem was reported and very nicely fixed by davinci. On some servers there seemed to be memory issues when trying to create a thumbnail from a picture with large dimensions (1000px +). Davinci’s fix tries to force the server to a higher memory limit, and if that doesn’t succeed (depending on your server settings) you get an error and the image is not uploaded. Thanks Davinci!

The files affected by this update are: admin/upload_files.php and admin/editor_pages.php.
