Exactly five years after the release of the very first version of xpy, Jan Sott released the first beta in the history of this tweaking program on Thursday. Xpy is a minimalistic program of only 113KB in size and is made to make Windows more secure and ensure privacy. For example, xpy has several anti-spy capabilities on board, protects against known security vulnerabilities, such as rpc/dcom and LMHash, and canphone homedisable Windows functionality. Finally, it should also improve the performance of Windows. Although the program works for Windows 2000, XP and 2003 Server, there is also a special version for Windows Vista called vispa.
