Download XPize 4.6 beta 2
A few days ago the second beta release of XPize version 4.6 was released. With this program the user interface of Windows XP or 2003 can be improved. There are still pictures and icons in Windows that in some cases have not changed since Windows 95. XPize modifies more than 150 system files to modify icons, animations and images. Furthermore, the screensaver, the start-up and login screen can also be adjusted. XPize is available in a normal (9.05MB) and a Lite version (5.42MB), the latter of which lacks the 128×128 icons. XPize works with all versions of Windows XP and 2003 Server in any language, but only with the 32-bit variants. However, version 2.0 of it .NET FrameWork necessary to use it. ImportantNote:
- Uninstalling XPize 4.6 Beta 1 may break IE7. If it does, reinstall IE7, then XPize 4.6 Beta 2.
- Support for IE6, WMP10/9 and Remote Desktop 5 has been dropped, although this new beta shouldn’t break the first two. It will break Remote Desktop Connection 5[break] Click for a larger version.
