The first beta release of version 1.98 of XnView has been released. More than 400 different formats of graphic files can be opened and converted with this program. Available in more than 40 languages, the program is free for individuals and non-profit organizations to use. Normally three different versions are available: a minimal version, a standard version and a complete version, the difference being in the number of supported formats and whether NConvert is included. NConvert has about the same functionality as XnView, but can be controlled from the command line. Only the full version of this beta release is available.
