On the Homepage of XMMS there is a very interesting new plugin to be found. This plugin, called XMMS-WinAMP, makes it possible to use a plugin made for WinAMP with the help of Wine. On the site of this plugin is a list with the winamp plugins that are now working well. Below is the changelog of this version.

added menu and autodetection for vis plugins and modules

deal with lack of preferences in xmms config file

do not force sleep in render loop

set process group for helper to be able to clean up processes some plugins leave behind

added LIBEXT variable to Makefile for building with older WINEs
