Download Xfire 1.84

Yesterday Xfire updated its chat program of the same name to version 1.84. Xfire is mainly intended for the avid gamers. It is possible to chat in text and speech both inside and outside games. Furthermore, all kinds of statistics are kept of the performance in different games, you can see which games the people on your contact list are currently playing and game patches and demos can be downloaded via your own p2p network. Currently, just over a thousand games are supported, of which 175 are the so-called ‘one click join‘ and over 500 ‘in game chat‘ support. the changelog of this release shows the following changes:

• The latest news items in your Clans and Guilds (part of the *beta* Clans & Guild System) are now displayed in the infoview when you login or select a clan.
• Added the ability to create custom, public or private forums associated with your clan or guild (select Edit Forums on your clan or guild page).
• Added server info in the infoview for Call of Duty 4, including colorized names.
• Added the ability to create chat rooms and invite people to chat rooms from Xfire In-Game 2.0.
• Added Xfire In-Game support for Direct3D 10 games (Hellgate: London, Fury, and Crysis).
