After the 1.99, Xfire did not come with version 2.00, but with 1.100 of its chat program of the same name. Xfire is an im-program intended for avid gamers and makes it possible to communicate with each other via text and speech, both indoors and outdoors. In addition, statistics of the performance in various games are kept, you can see which games the people from your contact list are currently playing and game patches and demos can be downloaded via your own p2p network. Currently, more than 1250 games are supported, 191 of which are the so-called ‘one click join‘ and over 800 ‘in game chat‘ support. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• Increased the number of simultaneous chat rooms you can visit to 10.
• Fixed several issues that caused the Xfire In-Game interface to become out of sync when joining chat rooms and voice chats.
• Fixed a crash in Far Cry when using the mouse wheel at certain times.
• Fixed a problem that did not update online users’ clan members list when a new member joins a clan.
• Fixed several issues with setting duplicate key bindings in Tools | Options.
