Xen is a baremetal hypervisor for the x86 and ARMv7/v8 platforms, allowing multiple operating systems to run simultaneously on a single system without drastically affecting performance. For more information about Xen and its community, please refer to this and this page. Currently only Linux, NetBSD and FreeBSD are supported as host systems, but efforts are underway to fully support other operating systems. The developers have released version 4.15.4, with the following announcement:
