Download XBMC Media Center 11.0 Beta 2

The second beta release of version 11.0 of XBMC Media Center has arrived. This cross-platform media center software is developed for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and the first generation Apple TV. The port for the original Xbox will be not anymore maintained by this team. Version 11.0, codenamed Eden, contains a large number of changes. For example, plug-in installations can be rolled back, various improvements have been made to the Confluence skin, there are significant performance improvements and there is support for more protocols and hardware. xbmcbetaIt’s been a productive few weeks in the race to release Eden. Since Beta 1, unencrypted bluray, dvd player, startup problems in OSX, airplay, subtitle issues, unofficial addon repository installations, and the frustrating TMDB scraper problems that have made it difficult for everyone to scrape new movies have all seen fixes. In addition, a great deal of progress has been made in the new XBMCBuntu build, which should be ready for the next preview release. Finally, all Beta 1 users are encouraged to update immediately to fix a scraper error that causes XBMC to crash.
