Download WSUS Offline Update 8.8

Version 8.8 of WSUS Offline Update has been released. This program makes it possible to provide Windows computers that have no or a slow internet connection with the latest updates from Microsoft. Simply checking one or more operating systems, office suites and languages ​​will download all available updates from Microsoft’s ftp server. When the updates are in, an ISO file is optionally made per language or per operating system. Other computers can then be updated quickly and easily via a CD or DVD. WSUS Offline Update has support for Windows XP and later, and Office 2003 and later. The changelog for this release looks like this:

• Support added for C++ 2012 Runtime Libraries Update 4
• On Windows XP (x86) systems without SP3, kb953356 will now be installed before SP3
• Service Pack support added for Microsoft Office Viewers (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excluded Update Rollups 1-3 (kb2781267, kb2824160 and kb2862551) for Windows Server 2012 Essentials
• Fix: Office multilingual updates’ directory (ofc glb) was blown up
• Fix: Download part missed Security Updates kb2768005 and kb2837618 for Office 2013
• Fix: AddOffice2010x64Support.cmd script didn’t consider StaticDownloadLinks-o2k10-x64-glb.txt
• Fix: ‘x86-cross-product’ ISO images exceeded 4.7 GB (max. capacity of DVD-5 media) and therefore won’t any more contain updates for Windows Server 2003
