Download WSUS Offline Update 8.7.2

Version 8.7.2 of WSUS Offline Update has been released. This program makes it possible to provide Windows computers that have no or a slow internet connection with the latest updates from Microsoft. By simply checking one or more operating systems, office suites and languages, all available updates will be downloaded from Microsoft’s ftp server. When the updates are in, an ISO file is optionally made per language or per operating system. Other computers can then be updated quickly and easily via a CD or DVD. WSUS Offline Update has support for Windows XP and later, and Office 2003 and later. New in version 8.7 includes support for Windows 8.1, Server 2012 R2, and .Net 4.5.1. Version 8.7.2 also includes the following three bug fixes:

• Fix: Windows Management Framework 4.0 wasn’t offered for installation on Windows Server 2012 systems
• Fix: DoUpdate.cmd script will now also try to determine missing updates if state of service ‘Windows Update’ (wuauserv) is “Start Pending”
• Fix: Check for trailing backslash in environment variable TEMP was broken in UpdateGenerator and UpdateInstaller scripts
