Download WSUS Offline Update 8.3

Version 8.3 of WSUS Offline Update has been released. This program makes it possible to provide Windows computers that have no or a slow internet connection with the latest updates from Microsoft. Simply checking one or more operating systems, office suites and languages ​​will download all available updates from Microsoft’s ftp server. When the updates are in, an ISO file is optionally made per language or per operating system. Other computers can then be updated quickly and easily via a CD or DVD. WSUS Offline Update has support for Windows XP and later, and Office 2007 and later. The following changes have been made in this release:

Modifications in version 8.3:

• Microsoft Silverlight updated to v. 5.1.20125.0
• MSI packages’ installations support MST transformation files now
• Support removed for .NET Frameworks 2.0 SP0/SP1 and 3.5 SP0
• Fix: Internet Explorer 9 / 10 and prerequisites will now be attempted to be installed only once
• Fix: Removed static download definition for obsolete Security Update kb2598039 for Office 2010 x86
• Fix: Added static download definition for Update kb2687503 (may replace kb2597986) for Office 2010 x86
• Fix: Missing “/f” switch for reg.exe could cause PrepareRecall.cmd, PrepareShowLogFile.cmd and CleanupRecall.cmd to wait for user interaction
• Fix: Linux script DownloadUpdates.sh corrected
