Download WSUS Offline Update 7.4.1

An update for version 7.4 of WSUS Offline Update has been released. This program makes it possible to provide Windows computers that have no or a slow internet connection with the latest updates from Microsoft. Simply checking one or more operating systems, office suites and languages ​​will download all available updates from Microsoft’s ftp server. When the updates are in, an ISO file is optionally made per language or per operating system. Other computers can then be updated quickly and easily via a CD or DVD. WSUS Offline Update has support for Windows XP and later, and Office 2003 and later. The following changes have been made in this release:

• Installation part will now suppress Winlogon Legal Notice during automatic recalls
• Fix: Microsoft removed the Command Line Transformation Utility (msxsl.exe) from their servers
• Fix: For Windows XP (x86) systems, an invalid version of kb2686509 was downloaded
• Fix: Download part missed Security Update kb2645640 for Windows Server 2003 (x86/x64)
• Fix: .NET 3.5 patches kb2657424 and kb2604111 could fail to install on Windows Vista systems
• Fix: Error handling in CreateISOImage.cmd and CopyToTarget.cmd scripts corrected
• Fix: Linux script DownloadUpdates.sh did not create platform specific subdirectories for .NET patches
• Fix: Linux script DownloadUpdates.sh contained invalid Windows() instead of Unix() line feeds
• Fix: Slackware part and fromdos alias in Linux download script DownloadUpdates.sh
