Download WS_FTP Professional 2007.1

The developers of Ipswitch recently released a new version of Ws_ftp Professional that bears 2007.1 as the version designation. With this program files can be exchanged with ftp servers via ftp, sftp, ssl, and https connections. In addition, it features extensive possibilities to automate and monitor these file exchanges. In version 2007.1, special attention has been paid to security and ease of use, as you can read in the following list of changes:

Security:
• Keyboard-Interactive Authentication: Client support for dynamic client-server authentication. Users can authenticate and connect to SSH servers that require connecting clients to respond to server defined prompts for authentication, in addition to username.
• Configure Email Notifications for SMTP Server Authentication: Users can easily set-up email notifications to be automatically sent when a file transfer occurs. Email notifications can now be configured for SMTP server authentication.

• Storage Utilization Displayed when Connecting to WS_FTP Server: Users connecting to WS_FTP Server with the WS_FTP Professional file transfer client get a real-time view of their server disk space utilization.
• Copy Fully-Qualified URL to Clipboard: Right-mouse-click and copy the URL to a remote file and paste into another document or email. The complete URL link includes host, server, folder and filename.
• Enhanced Workspaces: Save and instantly reconnect to frequently used local and server connections. Enhanced capability lets you add descriptive comments for each saved workspace.
• Enhanced Logging: The SSH Authentication method used to connect to an SSH server is now included in the connection log.

Version 2007:

• Search – Easily locate and transfer files using integrated Google, Copernic, or Windows desktop search engines. Search by parameters such as file type, size, and date.
• Enhanced Guaranteed Delivery – Built-in file verification mechanisms validate that transferred files are intact. SHA-256 and SHA-512 technologies ensure that the source and destination are exact matches.
• Easy Citrix & Microsoft Administration – Centrally manage and rapidly deploy multiple-computer installations with Citrix and Microsoft terminal services for virtualized software management.
• Enhanced Synchronization – Synch to any location, virtually any device, drive, or server. Easily define which files get transferred and how new or updated files are handled.
• Skins – Choose from nine pre-configured display skins or design your own custom skin.
• Enhanced Thumbnails – Create thumbnails of images stored on your computer or any server you connect to. Easily see and resize files.
