Download WirelessMon 2.0 build 1001

Passmark has released a first update for the version 2.0 of WirelessMon released at the end of May. With this program, the status of the wireless network card and the access points within its range can be monitored. For example, it is possible to see whether the network has been configured correctly, whether all components are working properly, whether the access points are secured and what the throughput speeds of the network are. It can also assist in locating the antenna when directional antennas are used, and can help detect interference or other problems. The changelog for this release looks like this:

Changes in version 2.0 build 1001:

• Fixed some display issue using high DPI settings
• Column sizes on the summary tab should now be retained and not reset when resizing the main window
• Mini window location will now be saved in the configuration file so it’s position will be remembered between sessions
• Fixed bug where clicking the “Show mini window” menu item would remove the WirelessMon icon from the system tray
